TIM BURTON'S CHILDHOOD Burton was born in 1958, in  Burbank, California. He has 2 brothers  Bill and Jean Burton.  Most of his childhood was characterized by the representation, with his brother, of parodies related to bloody crimes, considering himself as an introvert. One of his personal anecdotes is that he simulated a murder with an axe to frighten the neighbors to such an extent that one of them called the police. That is why he received the alias «Axe Wound» One of his main entertainments was the design, aspect in which he demonstrated to have talent after competing and winning a competition of draw that would be used in the urban trucks of his native city. Academically, he never felt an affinity for reading or for studies, whereas his greatest passions were painting, drawing and film. He loved the monster movies, mainly those related to Godzilla, Hammer Productions, Ray Harryhausen and Roger Corman. The latter worked on several occasions with the actor V

TIM BURTON Tim Burton it'm my favorite director of films I love his style of  drawing and his kind of films. My favorite film of him it's the Corpse Bride but the first film I see and I love it so much when I was little it's The Nightmare Before Christmas when I saw it I was amazed, I love it. And now I try to copi his drawings and I keep seeing his films because I adore them.

Film critic Robin Wood and director Francois Truffaut are among those who have noted that the James Bond films, for example, are copies of North by Northwest. A suave and unflappable hero, outlandish dangers, beautiful predatory women — all are elements found in Hitchcock, although the Bond films often revel in titillation and vicarious violence.
